Paul landed a huge right hand to drop Askren before referee Brian Stutts waved off the contest. Time was 1:59.
Former super lightweight champion Regis Prograis (26-1, 21 KOs) won via six round technical decision over Ivan Redkach (23-6, 18 KOs). Prograis landed a grazing body shot (wrongly ruled a low blow), leaving Redkach on the canvas unable to continue. The bout went to the scorecards where Prograis was a clear winner by 60-54, 60-54, 59-54.
Former cruiserweight world champion Steve Cunningham (30-9-1, 13 KOs) scored a six round unanimous decision over UFC legend Frank Mir. Scores were 60-54, 60-54, 58-56.
