Chris Eubank Jr. (36-2, 25 KOs) now holds the bragging rights with a twelve round unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Conor Benn (24-1, 14 KOs) at Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium in London, England. Great back and forth action from the opening with both landing some big shots throughout, however Eubank was adjudged to have done more with the three judges at ringside scoring the bout identical 116-112.

‘Everything surprised me. I didn’t know he had what he had in him. I really didn’t’ said Eubank ‘I thought I would break him early’.

‘I underestimated him. I didn’t train for a fight like that. I didn’t know he had that in him. He’s never shown that. But then again, he’s never had to show it. He had to show it tonight.’

‘If we don’t do the rematch, which I’d love to to avenge that loss, I’ll go back down to welterweight and win the WBC world title. See the Mario Barrios fight, the rematch. Whichever happens next I’ll be content with.’ Said a dejected Benn.
