On Saturday evening at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Richardson Hitchins (19-0, 7 KOs) emerged victorious over IBF junior welterweight champion Liam Paro (25-1, 15 KOs) in a twelve-round split decision.

Hitchins demonstrated superior boxing, gradually gaining an advantage over Paro, with scores of 117-111 (Paro) 116-112, and 116-112 in favor of Hitchins.

In a ten-round bout, IBF junior lightweight Henry Lebron (20-0, 10 KOs) emerged victorious over WBA #7 Christopher “Pitufo” Diaz (29-6, 19 KOs) to claim the vacant IBF Latino, WBO NABO, and WBA Continental Latin America titles. The judges’ scores were 97-93, 97-93, and 96-94.

In a rematch, WBO junior lightweight champion Emanuel Navarrete (39-2-1, 32 KOs) will defend his title against former two-division champion Oscar Valdez (32-3, 24 KOs) on Saturday evening at the Footprint Center in Glendale, Arizona.

Navarrete knocked down Valdez in the first round with a shot to the temple. Another knockdown occurred at the end of the fourth round. The bout concluded in the sixth round when Navarrete knocked Valdez down once more with a body shot. The time of the knockout was 2:42.

In a rematch, WBO featherweight champion Rafael Espinoza (27-0, 23 KOs) secured a decisive sixth-round technical knockout victory over Robeisy Ramirez (14-3, 9 KOs) to retain his title.

Espinoza landed a powerful right hand to Ramirez’s head, prompting the latter to indicate his inability to continue. The fight concluded at the 12:00 mark. Ramirez’s corner claimed that an Espinoza elbow strike in the fourth round had caused double vision, rendering him unable to proceed.

U.S. Olympic super heavyweight silver medalist Richard Torrez Jr. (12-0, 11 KOs) stopped Issac Muñoz (18-2-1, 15 KOs) in the 3rd round.

In a highly anticipated welterweight bout, Giovani Santillan (33-1, 18 KOs) dominated Fredrick Lawson (30-6, 22 KOs) for the entirety of the first round, ultimately leading Lawson to retire at the end of the round.
