It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scottish boxer Willie Limond at the age of 45.
Limond passed away in a Glasgow hospital following an apparent seizure in his car several days prior.
He was scheduled to fight at Emirates Arena on May 3, leaving behind a remarkable legacy, boasting a record of 42 wins, 5 losses, and 13 knockouts.
Throughout his illustrious career, he clinched European, Commonwealth, and British championships, and squared off against renowned opponents such as Erik Morales, Amir Khan, Anthony Crolla, and Ricky Burns.
