Two-weight world champion Oscar Valdez (32-2, 23 KOs) got back to winning ways with a superb seventh round TKO over Liam Wilson (13-3, 7 KOs) to claim the vacant WBO interim junior lightweight title on Saturday night at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Wilson used distance to box effectively in the earlier rounds but was unable to keep Valdez on the outside as the fight got towards the middle rounds. Valdez took the advantage with stunning body to head combinations which had the referee stopping the fight at 2:48.

WBC/WBA champion Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada (26-0, 9 KOs) become undisputed with an hard fought ten round unanimous decision over IBF/WBO Yokasta Valle (30-3, 9 KOs). Competitive throughout it was adjudged to be Estrada who would become the divisions Queen with scores of 97-93 3x.
