WBO junior middleweight champion Tim Tszyu (24-0, 17 KOs) outpointed Brian Mendoza (22-3, 16 KOs) over twelve rounds on Sunday at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia.

Not much to separate the fighters throughout the early part of the contest but after the seventh, Tszyu took over, breaking down the resistance of Mendoza to win by scores of 116-111, 116-112, 117-111.

Featherweight Sam Goodman (16-0, 7 KOs) outscored former world title challenger Miguel Flores (25-5-1, 12 KOs) in the co-feature. Goodman dropped Flores in the eighth to win by scores of 118-107, 120-105, 120-105 which were aided by Flores having two point deductions for low blows.

Heavyweight Toese Vousiutu (6-1, 6 KOs) scored a fourth round KO against Julius “The Towering Inferno” Long (18-27-1, 14 KOs).

In a middleweight unification encounter, WBO world champion Janibek “Qazaq Style” Alimkhanuly (15-0, 10 KOs) added the IBF title to his collection with a sixth round TKO over Vincenzo “Il Capo” Gualtieri (21-1-1, 7 KOs) on Saturday night at Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas.

Alimkhanuly had too much for the outgunned Gualtieri, a left uppercut starting the foundations for the stoppage after Gualtieri was rocked multiple times before the referee stepped in to end proceedings. Time was 1:25.

U.S. Olympic silver medalist Keyshawn Davis (10-0, 6 KOs) scored a ten round majority decision over Nahir Albright (16-3, 7 KOs). Scores were 95-95, 96-94, 97-93.

Unbeaten 2020 Olympic super heavyweight silver medalist Richard Torrez Jr. (7-0, 7 KOs) stopped Tyrrell Anthony Herndon (21-5, 14 KOs). Time was 1:26.
