I’m still not holding my breath but the talk around the boxing community this morning is that WBO welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford and WBC/WBA/IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr have agreed to face one another on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

There will be a rematch clause in the contract regardless of a winner with the fight between Spence and Thurman set to be scuttered in favour of Crawford stepping in.
