Former Heavyweight ruler Anthony Joshua will make his return on April 1st where American heavyweight Jermaine Franklin will be standing opposite him at London’s O2 Arena.

Joshua and Franklin have reportedly agreed on the financials for the fight and will sign the final paperwork later on Monday afternoon.

Joshua was defeated for the second time by Oleksandr Usyk in August 2022 whilst Franklin was on the wrong end of a majority decision last time out when facing Dillian Whyte in November 2022.

Franklin’s promoter Dmitri Salita is optimistic about his fighters chance believing the fight could come with a sting in the tail for the betting favourite.

‘Joshua, coming off two losses, changing trainers, is vulnerable,’
