Former Rugby star turned heavyweight Paul Gallen (11-0-1, 6 KOs) scored a careers best performance in his knockout over former WBA heavyweight champion Lucas “Big Daddy” Browne (29-3, 25 KOs) on Wednesday night at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre, Wollongong, NSW, Australia. The favoured Browne had no answer to Gallen, falling to the canvas before the follow up put an halt to proceedings. Time was 1:55.

Super featherweight Liam Wilson (9-0, 6 KOs) remained unblemished with a ten round unanimous decision victory over Francis Chua (8-2-1, 3 KOs). Scores were 98-92, 98-92, 97-74.

Welterweight Steve Spark (12-1, 11 KOs) decisioned Jack Brubaker (16-4-2, 8 KOs) over eight rounds. Brubaker dropped Spark in the opener, but Spark controlled the contest thereafter to win via scores of 80-72, 77-74, 77-74.

Super featherweight Bruno Tarimo (26-2-2, 5 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Kye MacKenzie (21-3, 17 KOs). Tarimo was always in command winning by margins of 97-92, 97-92, 96-93.

Welterweight Lenny Zappavigna (38-4, 28 KOs) scored a third round stoppage over Danny Kennedy (9-3-1, 1 KO). Zappavigna dropped Kennedy before the follow-up barrage brought an end to the contest. Time was 1:13.
