WBA/IBF unified super bantamweight champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev (9-0, 7 KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over former IBF champion Ryosuke Iwasa (27-4, 17 KOs) on Saturday night at the Humo Arena in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The ending was questionable to the extent that albeit dominant, Akhmadaliev after breaking down Iwasa the referee Yury Koptsev quizzically brought an end prematurely. Time was 1:30.
Shakhram “Wonderboy” Giyasov (11-0, 9 KOs) scored a brilliant third round KO over Patricio Lopez Moreno (28-5, 20 KOs). Moreno visited the canvas at the end of round two and was finished in the third.
WBA #1 rated Israil Madrimov (7-0, 5 KOs) took a ten round unanimous decision over Emmany Kalombo (14-1, 14 KOs). Madrimov dropped Kalombo at the end of the eighth but the durable Kalombo remained upright. Scores were 100-89, 99-90, 98-92.
Super bantamweight Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov needed only a round to annihilate Tasha Mjuaji (17-8-2, 5 KOs).
6’7 heavyweight Bakhodir Jalolov (8-0, 7 KOs) took two rounds to destroy Kristaps Zutis (7-2-2, 7 KOs). Zutis was down twice in second. Time was 1:16.
Hasanboy Dusmatov (3-0, 3 KOs) stopped Mushin Kizota (11-3, 5 KOs) in the second for the vacant WBA International title. Kizota was on the canvas three times from the commencement of the contest. Time was 2:02.
