JOE JOYCE KNOCKS OUT DANIEL DUBOIS!

Betting underdog WBC #11, WBO #11, IBF #13 / Rio Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce (12-0, 11 KOs) dispatched domestic foe WBO #2, WBC #7 Daniel Dubois (15-1, 14 KOs) in the tenth round at the Church House in London, next to Westminster Abbey.

Joyce’s jab helped win him rounds whilst also acting to close the left eye of Dubois. Famed for his power, Dubois was subdued by Joyce with his final act finding him taking a knee in the tenth. Time was :36.

Super welterweight Hamzah Sheeraz (12-0, 8 KOs) retained his WBO Euro title with a tenth round TKO over Guido Nicolas Pitto (26-8-2, 8 KOs). Sheeraz was dominant from start to finish, a series of punches ending proceedings with the time at 1:11.

WBO #1 jr welterweight Jack Catterall (27-0, 13 KOs) decisioned Abderrazak Houya (14-3, 2 KOs). Catterall dropped Houya in the sixth and again in the ninth but had to settle for a judges score of 99-90.

Unbeaten heavyweight David Adeleye (4-0, 4 KOs) kept alive his knockout streak with a second round KO over Danny Whittaker (4-2, 0 KOs). Adeleye dropped Whittaker twice in the second before the fight was stopped.

I've been in the boxing industry for over 16 years but been a fan for almost double that figure. I'm the proud owner of TopClassBoxing which continues to go from strength to strength as we strive to give fight fans a voice to be heard amongst the community. I've also had several articles published by reputable magazines and you can usually catch me around ringside.
