Two-time former WBC super flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (48-5-1, 41 KOs) took home a twelve round unanimous decision over former IBF flyweight champion Amnat Ruenroeng (20-4, 6 KOs) on Saturday at Workpoint Studio in Bang Phun, Thailand.
In a fascinating bout at 120Ibs Srisaket was forced to endure through a nasty looking cut for much of the bout, a head clash in the third further opening from the continuous right hands of the 40-year-old Ruenroeng. Srisaket possibly alarmed that the bout could pull away from him, upped the pressure to seize control of the second half of the bout, enough to to win by scores of 97-94, 96-93, 99-91.
