Former IBF 105-Pound champion Hiroto Kyoguchi (12-0, 9 KOs) successfully moved up in weight class to dethrone WBA 108-pound titlist Hekkie Budler (32-4, 10 KOs) on Monday in Macao, China.
Kyoguchi landed at will on the now former champion, chipping away at Budler for round after round with hard uppercuts and body shots until the South African waved the white flag of surrender after the tenth round.
At the time of the stoppage Kyoguchi was ahead on the scorecards with Reina Urbaez (Venezuela) 98-92, Derek Milham (Australia) 96-94, Chalerm Prayadsab (Thailand) 97-93 all scoring in favour of the new champion
