WBC #1, WBO #1, WBA #4 Dillian “The Body Snatcher” Whyte (25-1, 18 KOs) scored an eleventh round knockout over WBA #5, IBF #5, WBC #9, WBO 11 Derek “Delboy” Chisora (29-9, 21 KOs) on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, England.
The rematch was again fought at a good pace with both men landing hard shots throughout, but even after two point dedications for low blows in the eighth and an elbow In the eleventh, it was Chisora that was up on two of the three scorecards, little did he know that they wouldnt be needed, Whyte uncorking a solid left hook which left Chisora in no condition to make the count. “I said it wasn’t going the distance,” said Whyte afterwards. “I was trying to box disciplined and take my time. I hurt him in the first round and thought ‘you have 12 rounds to do this’. I knew it would come.”
