GONE IN 96 SECONDS: HORN ANNIHILATES MUNDINE IN BRISBANE

96 seconds is all it took for former WBO Welterweight world champion Jeff “The Hornet” Horn (19-1-1, 13 KOs) to make a statement in knocking out Anthony “The Man” Mundine (48-9, 28 KOs) at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.

Horn took control from the moment the bell rang and didn’t let up until a left hook put Mundine for the count.

The bout was contested at a catchweight of 156.5 pounds, with Mundine’s WBO Oriental and the vacant WBA Oceania middleweight titles on the line.

I've been in the boxing industry for over 16 years but been a fan for almost double that figure. I'm the proud owner of TopClassBoxing which continues to go from strength to strength as we strive to give fight fans a voice to be heard amongst the community. I've also had several articles published by reputable magazines and you can usually catch me around ringside.
