DAVID PRICE TAKES TO THE BIG STAGE ONCE AGAIN

David Price could feature on another huge box office event against Tom Little in December.

Promoter Eddie Hearn is looking to add Price to the undercard on the December 22 headlined by the Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora’s rematch, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and Little is being touted as a potential matchup for the Merseysider.

The 35-year-old big punching Price has recently been on the wrong end of two stoppage defeats, both coming on Anthony Joshua’s undercards.

He was taken out by former heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin last March then pulled out with an injury most recently after just four rounds against another Russian heavyweight Sergey Kuzmin in September.

But the former British, Commonwealth and English champion who now has a record of (22-6) will be looking to end the year on a positive note with an opportunity to fight on the big stage once again.

Little (10-6) was set to take on Bogdan Dinu in Bulgaria last month before the fight was pulled and now Dinu finds himself taking on Jarrell Miller this weekend in Kansas, whilst Tom Little looks to put himself back in contention with a massive domestic win over Price.

The 31-year-old from Hatfield has also suffered back to back stoppage defeats, losing to Filip Hrgovic and then to young prospect Daniel Dubois.

Watch the rematch between Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora, live from The O2, London, on December 22, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
