Former multi-division world champion Floyd Mayweather will return to the ring on December 31 against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

The announcement was made on Monday at a press conference in Tokyo. The event will take place under the banner of the RIZIN Fighting Federation, a Japanese MMA/kickboxing promoter.

It is unsure whether the contest will be boxing or Kickboxing rules.
