Middleweight Rob Brant (24-1, 16 KOs) scored the upset of the weekend with the one-sided unanimous decicion of WBA “regular” champion Ryota Murata (14-2, 11 KOs) at the Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas. Brant was consistantly accurate throughout the bout and by far the more active, the champion tried to turn the tide with his power but on the night it wasnt enough as the scores reflected a dominant bout from the challenger 118-110, 119-109, 119-109.
