WBC ORDERS LINARES VS. BRONER PLUS MUCH MORE FROM TODAYS CONVENTION

Some Interesting news came out of the WBC convention today with news of some mouth-watering matchups being ordered.

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez is being allowed to make a voluntary defence of his newly captured crown before having to face his mandatory.

His beaten opponent Gennady Golovkin may have to go through the tricky encounter of Jermall Charlo in order to secure any thoughts of a third fight with Canelo as the WBC have requested a final eliminator between the two.

Lower down the weight divisions, Gary Russell Jr is down to face Leo Santa Cruz whilst Shawn Porter fresh after his Danny Garcia victory could face Keith Thurman.

The one most will focus on the myriad of fights is the contest that features Jorge Linares in an eliminator with boxing’s ‘Can Man’ Adrien Broner.

Others that have been mentioned are Julian Williams Vs. Erislandy Lara and should Mikey Garcia gets past Richard Commey he will be presented with the prospect of facing Britain’s Luke Campbell

As we know these fights are subject to change but think we can all agree that there are some great fights in the pipeline.
