LAS VEGAS  – Cameron Dunkin’s Now Boxing has added another blue-chip prospect to its talented and expanding roster, with the signing of decorated amateur David Stevens. The 18-year old Reading, Pennsylvania native, is ranked #1 in the USA at 201 lbs, but will compete as a light heavyweight in the professional ranks. Stevens joins a very impressive array of fighters under the Now Boxing banner, including Jaron “Boots” Ennis, Brandun Lee, Christian Montano, Zsolt Daranyi, Carlos Sanchez, Brian Mendoza, Mikael Zewski, Kudratillo Abduqaxorov, Azizbek Abdugofurov, Joseph Bonas, Brian Norman, Breyon Gorham, Wesley Diana, and Mark Magsayo, among others.

Stevens is a 2-time National Junior Olympic Gold Medalist and frequently draws comparisons to his favorite boxer, Mike Tyson. He boasts among his accolades wins at the National Silver Gloves Championships and the Ringside World Championships.

Stevens is extremely motivated, dedicated, and committed to becoming a World Champion. Stevens is currently training at the East Reading Boxing Club under the guidance of Andres Acuna, and is expected to make his professional debut in the coming months.

“This is a huge signing for us,” said Cameron Dunkin. “Stevens is the best in the country in his weight class, and at 175 he has unlimited potential.” Dunkin, who is known for his ability to recognize world class talent, and has guided numerous world champions over the course of his career in boxing.
