ESPN are reporting that WBO Middleweight Champion Billy Joe Saunders has failed a drugs test ahead of his defence against Demetrius Andrade.

They claim he returned a positive Voluntary Anti-Doping Association drugs test for the stimulant Oxilofrine

Saunders replied on Twitter with a denial saying “Some s***”

It’s the latest negative for Saunders who had recently been hit with a £100,000 from the British Boxing Board of Control for bringing the sport into disrepute when a video surfaced of Saunders asking a woman to perform sex acts on a passer by in return for £150 worth of drugs.
