Fight Report

Kosei Tanaka (12-0, 7 KOs) aggressively dethroned the now former Champ Sho Kimura (17-2-2, 10 KOs) in Nagoya, Japan on Monday.

In a brilliant performance, Tanaka outscored Kimura in a war of a contest by 116-112, 115-113, 114-114.

The win meant that Tanaka became a three weight world champion, winning titles at Minimumweight, junior flyweight and now WBO Flyweight Champion.

I've been in the boxing industry for over 16 years but been a fan for almost double that figure. I'm the proud owner of TopClassBoxing which continues to go from strength to strength as we strive to give fight fans a voice to be heard amongst the community. I've also had several articles published by reputable magazines and you can usually catch me around ringside.
