Unified WBA/IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs) and challenger Alexander Povetkin (34-1, 24 KOs) performed for the boxing public on Wednesday night at the famed York Hall.
“He might have a good left hook but I have to annihilate that early,” said Joshua. “He has a lot of things in his locker so we have to shut him down early…the win is the most important thing, but, of course the knockout is always entertaining and boosts up the stock.”
