Jose “Sniper” Pedraza scored a decision victory to dethrone WBO lightweight champion Raymundo Beltran last night at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona. Pedraza came into the contest the underdog but upset the odds with his precision punching, able to take the early rounds with his quick hand speed. The champion came on strong throughout the midway point of the contest as it looked like the challenger had slightly faded but Pedraza got his second wind late on, able to score a knockdown in the eleventh to seal victory on the scorecards.

Undefeated WBO junior featherweight champion Isaac Dogboe built on his impressive performance over Diego Magdaleno with the one round annihilation of Hidenori Otake in the co-feature.
