Former World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury (26-0, 16 KOs) predictably won his comeback fight in four one-sided rounds against the overmatched Sefer Seferi (23-2, 21 KOs) at the Manchester Arena.
In his first fight in 32 months of inactivity, Fury towered over the career cruiserweight Seferi, showboating for the majority of the opening two rounds, even bringing a caution from the referee for doing so. Fury did up the tempo a notch with a nice right hook and a solid uppercut in the fourth but it was all an anti-climax of a bout that ended farcically with Seferi’s corner pulling their man.
Fury will return to the ring on the 18th August in Belfast where it is hoped he will find a more suitable test.
“I’ll be better next time, I’ll have more rounds and a better opponent,” said Fury afterwards “I learned two and a half years is a long time to be out, I’ll take my career very serious this time and enjoy every moment”
