A well placed right hand is all it took for Former IBF Welterweight champion Kell Brook (37-2, 26 KOs) to kick-start his campaign at the 154 pound limit in fine fashion.

Up against what on paper seemed a decent challenge in Siarhei Rabchenko (29-3, 22 KOs), Brook who was returning from a loss to Errol Spence Jr. shone brightest, landing the harder shots in the opener before a left uppercut followed by a right hand dropped the Belarusian in the second, prompting referee Steve Gray to call a halt to proceedings.

Super Bantamweight Gavin McDonnell (19-1-2, 5 KOs) outpointed the previously unbeaten Gamal Yafai (14-1, 7 KOs) to take scores of 116-112, 116-112 and 117-113 and the WBC International title.

WBC Silver Super Lightweight champion Josh Taylor predictably made easy work of his opponent Winston Campos, needing just three rounds in Glasgow to come away with the victory.

Campos came in as a late replacement for Humberto Soto who was injured in preparation for the fight, showing willing but ultimately found wanting as he was swept aside by the talented Scot who took his record to 12-0, 11 KOs.
