The news that rocked Japan on the weekend was that Three-time world champion Kazuto Ioka (22-1, 13 KOs) announced his retirement from boxing.

Still only 28-Year-Old, Ioka made the statement in Yokohama, Japan, on New Year’s Eve having held titles at Minimum, Light-Fly and Flyweight divisions.

Move over Cheech and Chong, Former Heavyweight king Mike Tyson  has entered the marijuana business, recently purchasing a 40-acre cannabis farm in California where Marijuana became legal in the state on Monday, January 1.

The ongoing feud between Bob Arum and UFC Supremo Dana White continues at a fast pace. The news of the Mixed Martial Arts business joining the boxing ranks has stirred Arum into giving his take, saying recently that “By coming in the business, he is really admitting that boxing is the more popular sport. And in order to keep his company alive, he has to go into the boxing business.
