WBO super middleweight champion Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez (36-0, 24 KOs) kept his title with an impressive twelve round decision over previously unbeaten Jesse “Hard Work” Hart (22-1, 18 KOs) on Friday night at the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Ramirez showed his power in the second, dropping Hart before generally battering him for the majority of the round. Ramirez had another big round in the fourth before Hart showed a willingness to try and make it a more competitive contest.

Both men landed big shots in the final round, the Mexican retaining his crown via scores of 115-112, 115-112, 114-113.
