WBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk (13-0, 11 KOs) showed the reasoning behind his number one seed in the boxing super series with the dismantlement of former world champion Marco Huck (40-5-1, 27 KOs) in the tenth round at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin, Germany.

Huck tried veteran tactics to gain an advantage early in the contest, trying to rough up the Ukraine but it was to no effect. Usyk kept coming forward, finding his range before unloading with an assortment of combinations which often snapped back the head of the German.

Huck was deducted a point in the eighth for hitting Usyk while on the canvas from a slip, It was the action of a beaten man, succumbing to the barrage of shots in the tenth at the mercy of referee Robert Byrd.

Usyk now makes his way to the semi-finals of the tournament format where he awaits his next challenge.
