The Super fight of Floyd Mayweather Vs. Conor McGregor has taken significant steps to becoming a reality after a date and a venue was tentatively revealed yesterday.

Mayweather promotions requested a date of August 26th from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, asking also to reserve the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a ‘Boxing Event’ (Below is a screen grab of the Calendar entry)

McGregor further fanned the flames, teasing his followers on social media platform ‘Twitter’ saying a big announcement in the coming days.

The contest initially was thought to be fantasy but recent developments have moved quickly. Mayweather promotes the likes of Gervonta Davis, Badou Jack and J’Veon Love who could all feature on what will amount to the biggest PPV event to date, dwarfing that of Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao.
