Talk of the fight has been rife around the boxing community for weeks but today Showtime Sports announced that three division world champion Mikey Garcia will move up to the 140-Pound Division to face four weight world champion Adrien Broner on Saturday, July 29th.

Unbeaten Garcia will move up in weight class for the second time in three fights, making up for his eighteen month period of inactivity.

In his last fight, Garcia (36-0) stopped former world champion Dejan Zlaticanin in a stark reminder that ring rust was a non-entity.

Broner also comes into the contest with a win, scoring a split decision over Adrian Granados at the Welterweight limit (147Ibs)
