YAMANAKA AT HIS DEVASTATING BEST IN STOPPING CARLSON IN SEVEN

sp-boxing-b-20150923

WBC Bantamweight King Shinsuke Yamanaka (27-0-2, 19 KOs) handed out a one sided beat down to tough Mexican Carlos Carlson (22-2, 13 KOs) in Japan today.

Yamanaka told reporters beforehand of his intentions in making a statement which is quite evidently what he did in the contest, dropping Carlson five times on route to the stoppage victory.

Carlson to his credit showed a tremendous heart in making it to his feet each time but was ultimately outgunned by the Bantamweight king who will now turn his focus to unifying the division with WBA champion Jamie McDonnell, IBF’s Lee Haskins and WBA ‘Super’ champion  Zhanat Zhakiyanov all in his cross hairs.

I've been in the boxing industry for over 15 years but been a fan for almost double that figure. I'm the proud owner of TopClassBoxing which continues to go from strength to strength as we strive to give fight fans a voice to be heard amongst the community. I've also had several articles published by reputable magazines and you can usually catch me around ringside.
